This letter is for you—the one scrolling LinkedIn at 2 AM wondering what went wrong. The one whose badge was deactivated without warning. The one whose "efficiency cuts" somehow managed to eliminate the most qualified person in the room. This is for you, and the over 300,000 Black women who've been systematically pushed out of the workforce in 2025.
First, let me say what no one else will: This isn't about you. This is about systems that have always preyed on women of color.
The numbers don't lie—between February and April 2025 alone, Black women lost 318,000 jobs while the overall economy was adding positions. When federal budgets tightened, when DEI programs were dismantled, when "efficiency reforms" swept through government agencies, you weren't the problem. You were the solution they chose to discard.
